The Valley Christian Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Golden Sierra 81-53 on the road. The result was nothing new for Valley Christian, who have now won four contests by 28 points or more so far this season.
Chase Clary was his usual excellent self, scoring 30 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. The matchup was his tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Matthew Larson, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Golden Sierra lost, one person who can't be blamed is Patrick Bingham. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on ten points and 18 rebounds. Bingham is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bradley Dodson, who scored 14 points.
Golden Sierra struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Valley Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Golden Sierra, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
