Roncalli is 8-2 against Sheboygan Falls since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Jets will welcome the Falcons at 4:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
Roncalli is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Mauston with a sharp 17-1 victory on Saturday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Madison Lamers was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted over her last ten contests. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Jenna Ewen and Megan Lamers did most of the damage at the plate: Ewen went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run, while Megan got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. Those three stolen bases gave Ewen a new career-high. Madison Keller was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.
Roncalli always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .683. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Sheboygan Falls had to endure a 12-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They never let Oostburg get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Saturday.
Like Roncalli, Sheboygan Falls also got a great game from a two-way player: Abby Kanios. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Kanios has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
In other batting news, Chloe Thill was incredible, going 3-for-4 with seven RBI, three runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Lola Claerbout, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with three runs.
Sheboygan Falls' win bumped their record up to 3-13. As for Roncalli, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-10.
Roncalli came out on top in a nail-biter against Sheboygan Falls when the teams last played back in April, sneaking past 2-0. Will the Jets repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
