The Hayes Pacers will face off against the Lincoln Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Hayes will be looking to extend their current 16-game winning streak.
Hayes' pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Westland with a sharp 14-0 victory. The Pacers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by six runs or more this season.
Bronwynn Leighty was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.

Hayes always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .821. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lincoln, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over Pickerington North on Monday.
Fotini Belak looked comfortable as she pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
On the hitting side, Madi Hall was a standout: she got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Costa, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
Lincoln is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Hayes, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-1.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. Hayes hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1 home runs per game. However, it's not like Lincoln struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.6 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down. Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more softball content.
