Things haven't been easy for Riverview Gardens, and their game on Saturday only extended their streak of losses to eight. They were dealt a punishing 0-44 loss at the hands of Hazelwood Central.
Riverview Gardens are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-8. The win was the 5th in a row for Hazelwood Central, as they raised their record to 6-2.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Riverview Gardens will stay at home next week against McCluer at 1:00 PM. Both of those teams have had a rocky road up to this point with eight consecutive losses for Riverview Gardens and nine for McCluer. As for Hazelwood Central, they will face off against McCluer North. Hazelwood Central will be hoping to continue their now five-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
