The Iowa Park Hawks lost against the Holliday Eagles on January 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Iowa Park's tough 72-48 defeat to Holliday might stick with them for a while. Iowa Park was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-15.
Keitenn Bristow was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 31 points and 11 rebounds for Holliday. Bristow hasn't dropped below 15 points for 21 straight games. Grant Cox was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with ten rebounds and five steals.
Iowa Park has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season. As for Holliday, the victory (which was their 24th in a row) raised their record to 24-2.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Jacksboro the next time they take the court. Holliday will head out to face Jacksboro at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Iowa Park will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
