Wallenpaupack Area has been on the road for two straight, but  on Friday they'll finally head home. They will welcome the Valley View Cougars  at 7:00  p.m. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.

 Valley View had a senior duo take command as  Nick Kucharski rushed for 140 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.8 yards per carry and  Zach Cwalinski threw for 135 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 passes. Those 140  rushing yards set a new season-high mark for  Kucharski.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Valley View was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 240  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 172  rushing yards in eight consecutive  games.
 Wallenpaupack Area's win  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 4-5. As for Valley View, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the  victory, which was their seventh straight  at home dating back to last season.
