After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Oldham, Seneca was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Western Warriors a 21-0 shutout. The Red Hawks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Seneca's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Western, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Seneca and Western will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Red Hawks see the field they'll take on Iroquois at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. As for Western, their break will end when they face DeSales at 7:00 p.m. on October 9.
