The Reseda Regents had to endure a 17-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 24-23 victory over Canoga Park. For Reseda, this counts as revenge for the 49-0 loss Canoga Park walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.
Dallas Lakey and Anthony Medina, Canoga Park certainly did their beston Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Lakey rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown, while Medina rushed for 20 yards and a touchdown.
Reseda's victory bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Canoga Park, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 0-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Reseda will challenge San Fernando at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. San Fernando is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. As for Canoga Park, they will head out on the road to face off against Panorama at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th.
