The Indian Hill Braves will venture away from home to face off against the Sycamore Aviators at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Indian Hill has nine straight wins, Sycamore has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Monday, Indian Hill earned a 10-6 victory over Mariemont.

Devlan Daniel made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.
Daniel wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Simon Gall, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Luke Egnaczyk was another, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Indian Hill hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in nine consecutive matchups.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Sycamore and Mason had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Aviators lost 8-1 to the Comets on Friday.
Indian Hill pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Sycamore, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.
Indian Hill was able to grind out a solid win over Sycamore in their previous matchup back in May of 2022, winning 7-3. Will the Braves repeat their success, or do the Aviators have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
