It was a good run, but the Living Water Homeschool Marlins unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 82-77 hit to the loss column at the hands of Anderson HomeSchool. Living Water Homeschool was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Anderson HomeSchool apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.
It was another big night for Matthew Eaks, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 12 rebounds for Anderson HomeSchool. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Eaks has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Clark Emly, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds.
Living Water Homeschool's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Anderson HomeSchool, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.
Living Water Homeschool will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Emmanuel Christian at 6:00 p.m. on February 9th. As for Anderson HomeSchool, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Kokomo HomeSchool at 2:00 p.m.
