Basketball Recap: Davinci Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Simon Weston and Daxton Chipp

The DaVinci Academy Dragons came up short against the American Heritage Patriots on Monday, falling 47-21.

Daxton Chipp and Simon Weston certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Chipp posted nine points, while Weston had two points and eight rebounds.

American Heritage's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

DaVinci Academy will host Terra Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for American Heritage, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 69-56 loss against Morgan on the 11th.
