Mater Academy East Las Vegas was dealt a 77-45 defeat at the hands of Arbor View. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Mater Academy East Las Vegas has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Arbor View to victory, but perhaps none more so than Pharaoh Compton, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Compton is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last five games he's played. Maximus Romero was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Mater Academy East Las Vegas' loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Arbor View, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-5.
Mater Academy East Las Vegas will head out on the road to face off against Eldorado at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Arbor View, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Vanden at 8:00 p.m. Vanden will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 52nd in California, while Arbor View is ranked third in Nevada).
