Palmview won the last time they faced Martin and things went their way on Friday too. The Lobos put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 15-0 victory. Considering the Lobos have won eight games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Abigail Cantu made a big impact no matter where she played. Palmview was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .560. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Palmview has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games.
