Loma Linda Academy had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They breezed by the Lucerne Valley Mustangs to the tune of 65-23. The Roadrunners have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 31 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Lucerne Valley still got an impressive performance from Christian Barajas, who posted six points.

Loma Linda Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.1 points per game. As for Lucerne Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
