After losing to the Woods Cross Wildcats the last time they met, the Roy Royals decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Roy snuck past Woods Cross with a 55-51 win on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Roy.
Bronson Belnap continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Daxton Warren, who scored 14 points.
Roy has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Woods Cross, they have fallen quite a ways from their 18-5 record last season and are now at 2-12.
Roy will head out on the road to face off against Bountiful at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bountiful will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Woods Cross, they will be playing at home against Northridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
