Noblesville is 8-2 against Hamilton Southeastern since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Millers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Royals at 6:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Noblesville is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over Oak Hill on Monday. Noblesville's victory was all the more impressive since the Golden Eagles were averaging only 4.06 runs allowed on the season.
Rhett Hostetler looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brooks Riggs, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Slade Hodges, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Noblesville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oak Hill only posted a batting average of .211.
For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Hamilton Southeastern and Lawrence North have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Monday. The Royals put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 9-3 win.
Jackson Keeven looked comfortable as he pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Hamilton Southeastern got a big performance out of Parker O'Steen, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. Karson Seitz was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Noblesville is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Hamilton Southeastern, their win bumped their record up to 13-7.
