Colonial Forge had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their defense stepped up to hand the Mountain View Wildcats a 69-0 shutout on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Mountain View dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Colonial Forge and North Stafford will shake off the cobwebs and hit the pitch one another at 7:00 p.m. on March 20th. The game will give North Stafford their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. Mountain View will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off.
