Basketball Recap: White Knoll Piles Up the Points Against River Bluff

A well-balanced attack led White Knoll over River Bluff in every quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the White Knoll Timberwolves blew the River Bluff Gators out of the water with a 58-22 final score. The Timberwolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 22 points or more this season.

White Knoll's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shaelyn Hayes, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 17 boards. Hayes has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Another player making a difference was Emory Waters-Inman, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 16 rebounds.

White Knoll was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as River Bluff only posted five assists.

White Knoll is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for River Bluff, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13.

White Knoll will take on Dutch Fork at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dutch Fork is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.8 points per game this season. As for River Bluff, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-19 defeat against South Pointe on the 1st.
