There's no place like home for the Harrison Wildcats, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They skirted past Talawanda 53-50. Given Harrison's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 354th, while the Brave are ranked 731st), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Luke Rogers was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with five rebounds and two steals. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Hank Rotert, who scored six points along with five steals.
Harrison pushed their record up to 11-7 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Talawanda, their loss dropped their record down to 2-17.
Harrison will head out on the road to face off against the Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Talawanda, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Wolves at 7:30 p.m. West Clermont is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
