The Ore City Rebels will square off against the Union Grove Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ore City will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
Ore City barely beat Waskom the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rebels were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Wildcats on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won eight in a row.
Jordan Johnson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
