The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Dory Jenson, who scored eight points along with three blocks. Ofa Arreguin was another key contributor, scoring five points along with 17 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Grantsville stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past South Summit 54-29. With Grantsville ahead 44-4 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Grantsville relied on the efforts of Kodee Williams, who scored 16 points along with four steals, and Baylee Lowder, who scored ten points along with eight assists and eight rebounds. Williams hasn't dropped below two steals for 11 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Allred, who scored eight points.
Ben Lomond's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Grantsville, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Ben Lomond have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 33.1 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Grantsville struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 27.6 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
