Bovina's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Yandel Deleon, who scored 15 points. That's the first time this season that Deleon scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Herrera, who scored 13 points.
Boys Ranch's loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 4-10. As for Bovina, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 9-13.
Boys Ranch will take on Farwell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Farwell has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Bovina, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Vega at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
