New Life Christian Academy has not had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
New Life Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alexis Kuhn, who scored six points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaela Hollingsworth, who scored six points.
New Life Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Lewisburg Baptist Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Life Christian Academy will take on the Crusaders at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lewisburg Baptist Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Cavaliers at 6:30 p.m. on February 6th. Hopefully Mercer Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Monday.
