Even though The Grove City Greyhounds have not done well against the Hilliard Davidson Wildcats recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Grove City enjoyed a cozy 38-22 victory over Hilliard Davidson. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Grove City.
Matthew Papas was a one-man wrecking crew for Grove City as he threw for 231 yards and four touchdowns while completing 89.5% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Jeremiah King did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 125 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Grove City now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Hilliard Davidson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.
Grove City will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Lincoln will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line. Hilliard Davidson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
