Manual hadn't done well against DSST: Montview recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Thunderbolts put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 19-8 victory. Considering the Thunderbolts have won four matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Edgar Salas made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.
