The Christian Community Warriors will stay at home for another game and welcome the HEARTS for Jesus Christ Guardians at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th. Hopefully Christian Community focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 two weeks ago.

Lily Babet and Sarah Solak were among the main playmakers for Christian Community as the former scored three points along with three steals and the latter scored 13 points along with six steals. Solak is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's played.
Meanwhile, HEARTS for Jesus Christ's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of St. Martin de Porres by a score of 55-52.
Defeat or not, HEARTS for Jesus Christ got some senior leadership from Maria Cottenden and Alex Zelenka. Cottenden dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds, while Zelenka. almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 22 rebounds. Cottenden has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more rebounds the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Carpenter, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Even though they lost, HEARTS for Jesus Christ smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 34 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Christian Community's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-9. As for HEARTS for Jesus Christ, they dropped their record down to 16-7 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Tuesday's game is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Christian Community have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 36.3 rebounds per game. However, it's not like HEARTS for Jesus Christ struggles in that department as they've been averaging 40.3 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Christian Community lost to HEARTS for Jesus Christ at home by a decisive 48-33 margin in their previous matchup back in January. Can Christian Community avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
