Valdez scored four runs and stole Five bases. while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances, while Marcial scored four runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave Marcial a new career-high in hits (three). Another player making a difference was Mariah Velasco-Basulto, who scored two runs and stole Three bases.

On the mound, she struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits (and not a single walk).
