Volleyball Recap: Alta Has No Trouble Against East

Alta won the last time they faced East and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Alta Hawks put the hurt on the East Leopards with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-16, 25-10.

Jayden Roberts paced Alta's offense, picking up nine kills. Roberts got some help from Jameson Biggs and his 29 assists. Benjamin Latimer controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Alta now has a winning record of 5-4. As for East, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Looking ahead, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Alta Hawks face off against Skyline Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Skyline will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Alta surely won't give up without a fight. As for East, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Fremont on the 19th.
