Charlotte found their leader in underclassman Kamie Ellis, who scored 25 points along with 7 rebounds. The matchup was Ellis' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Abigail Willis, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 14 rebounds.
Charlotte now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Port Charlotte, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Charlotte will square off against Westminster Academy at 5:50 p.m. on Friday. Port Charlotte won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lemon Bay at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th.
