Santa Cruz got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ben Dotten out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Demeke Smith, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
San Lorenzo Valley has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Santa Cruz, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3.
San Lorenzo Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Soquel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Santa Cruz, they will head out on the road to face off against Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
