It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 85-42, which was the final score in Springfield's tilt against the Crater Comets this past Friday. Springfield lost against Crater in their previous head-to-head last month, too, but their margin this time around was much wider than that 75-43 finish.
The Millers' overall record fell to 10-7. The win bumped Crater's record up to 15-5.
The Millers will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against North Bend. Springfield has the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency. As for Crater, they will face off against Ashland on Tuesday. Ashland is coming in off of a big 73-51 win over North Bend.
