Jefferson Area has enjoyed a five-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Perry Pirates at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Jefferson Area will be strutting in after a victory while Perry will be coming in after a defeat.

Perry has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They received a tough blow on Saturday as they fell 43-28 to Chagrin Falls.
Jefferson Area is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Perry, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
Jefferson Area came up short against Perry in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 40-34. Can Jefferson Area avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
