There's no place like home for the Einstein Titans, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 47-45 win over Wheaton on Friday. That's another feather in the cap for Einstein, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Tekli Adhanom, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 16 rebounds. The game was his sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Tucker , who scored eight points.
Einstein's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Wheaton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Einstein will face off against Kennedy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Maryland (Kennedy is ranked 159th, while Einstein is ranked 180th). As for Wheaton, they will head out on the road to face off against Blair at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Blair is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
