Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lakeview). They really took it to the Housatonic Mountaineers for the full four quarters, racking up an 82-34 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 51-20.

Max Guma had an outrageously good game as he went 7 of 11 on his way to 18 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinn Coffey, who posted ten points and five rebounds.

Guma wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Lakeview was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Lakeview moved to 2-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Housatonic, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Lakeview will head out to challenge Terryville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeview is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.5 points per game this season. As for Housatonic, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lakeview at 5:30 p.m. on February 6th.
