Guerin Catholic better keep an eye on Laniah Wills. She was instrumental in Lapel's win, dropping a double-double with 30 points and 12 rebounds. Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Guerin Catholic has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 24.8 boards per game. However, it's not like Lapel struggles in that department as they've been averaging 27.3 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Guerin Catholic lost to Lapel at home by a decisive 69-54 margin in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Wills, who dropped a double-double with 31 points and 15 boards.
