High school football: Dakorien Moore, Chris Henry Jr. headline top 10 wide receivers heading into 2024 season

Florida loaded with elite pass-catchers.

We kicked off our position-by-position breakdown of the 2024 high school football season with the quarterbacks and running backs.

Next up are the wide receivers.

Dakorien Moore of Duncanville (Texas) and Chris Henry Jr. of Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) headline the wideouts selected. Moore led the Panthers to their second consecutive Class 6A Division 1 state title and Henry made the move to California from Withrow (Cincinnati) after hauling in 71 receptions for 1,127 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Henry is one of three non-seniors featured. Jabari Brady of Chaminade-Madonna (Hollywood, Fla.) and Calvin Russell of Northwestern (Miami) join the five-star wide receiver as players from the Class of 2026.

Jaime Ffrench of Mandarin (Jacksonville, Fla.) along with Jayvan Boggs of Cocoa (Fla.) join Brady and Russell as wideouts from the Sunshine State. 

Texas was the only other state to have multiple selections. Kaliq Lockett of Sachse (Texas) joins Moore as receivers featured from the Lone Star State. California, Georgia, Mississippi and New Jersey have one player each.
