Volleyball Recap: Savannah Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Savannah lost to Groves two weeks ago, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Bluejackets skirted past the Rebels 2-1.

Savannah was actually outscored in aggregate across those three sets (63-60), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 28-26, 17-25, 15-12.

Savannah's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9. As for Groves, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Savannah and Groves will both be playing Beach the next time they take the court. The Bluejackets will head out to face the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Rebels will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
