Falcon has been on the road for four straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Palmer Ridge Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Falcon focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Tuesday.
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Falcon ultimately got the result they hoped for. They secured a 65-61 W over Vista Ridge. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Eric Graham was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 10 rebounds. The match was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Isaak Lane, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Palmer Ridge's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 57-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rampart. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Palmer Ridge came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 15th, while Rampart is ranked 97th).
Falcon's victory pushed their record up to 3-1, while Vista Ridge's bumped their own up to the opposite: 1-3.
Falcon came up short against Palmer Ridge in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 72-61. Will Falcon have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more basketball content.
