On Saturday, the Grove City Christian Eagles's game was all tied up 23-23 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They snuck past Fisher Catholic with a 58-52 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Grove City Christian.
Caleb Ransom was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds. Seth Vaughn was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Grove City Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Fisher Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grove City Christian will challenge Fairfield Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fairfield Christian Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Grove City Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fisher Catholic, they will head out on the road to challenge Bishop Rosecrans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Bishop Rosecrans focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 last Tuesday.
