Clyde gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. Everything went their way against the Cisco Loboes as they made off with a 33-13 win. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 27-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Loboes cut but never quite recovered from.
Despite the defeat, Cisco saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Colby McIlroy rushed for 99 yards and one score.
Looking ahead, Clyde will venture away from home to take on Eastland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cisco, they will welcome San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
