Eastern hasn't had much luck against DC International recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Ramblers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Dragons at 11:00 a.m. Eastern will be strutting in after a win while DC International will be coming in after a defeat.
Eastern took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Cardozo a 14-0 shutout. The Ramblers have beaten the Clerks the last eight times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Clerks has come to flipping the script.
Cardozo's batters probably weren't too happy with Finnian Burns, who pitched a no hitter and racked up nine Ks (he gave up a single walk).

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Joseph Foskett, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Campbell, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, DC International lost 12-2 to Maret on Thursday. The Dragons haven't had much luck with the Frogs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

DC International's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Eastern, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
