After a string of four wins, the West Platte Bluejays's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 63-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Plattsburg. West Platte has struggled against Plattsburg recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Michael "isaia" Howard, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and 16 rebounds for Plattsburg. The match was Howard's 12th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylan Langton, who scored 15 points along with four steals.
West Platte's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Plattsburg, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.
West Platte will head out on the road to face off against Hogan Prep Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Plattsburg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Braymer at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Braymer's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five games.
