Softball Recap: Dickson County Has No Trouble Against Northwest

Dickson County won the last time they faced Northwest and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cougars blew past the Vikings 11-1. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by six runs or more this season.

Brynn Good looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.

On the hitting side, Dickson County got a massive performance out of Kailey Beene, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Sabrina Potter, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-1.

Dickson County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Dickson County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games.
