Tuesday just wasn't the day for the Weslaco Panthers's offense. They were the victim of a rough 11-0 defeat at the hands of Los Fresnos on Tuesday. Weslaco has not had much luck with Los Fresnos recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Weslaco's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for Los Fresnos, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5-5.
Weslaco will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Rivera at 7:30 p.m. Weslaco's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Los Fresnos, they will head out on the road to challenge Hanna at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
