There's no place like home for the Loyalton Grizzlies, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 69-47 margin over Herlong. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-15.
Aidan Shelby continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 22 points and nine blocks. Shelby is crushing the block category: he's posted at least three every time he's taken the court this season. Gus Petterson was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Loyalton's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points per game. As for Herlong, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Loyalton won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on January 31st. Princeton has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 647 points over their last nine games. As for Herlong, they will head out on the road to take on the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
