The Dysart Demons won the last time they faced the Paradise Honors Panthers, and things went their way on Thursday too. Dysart walked away with a 61-50 win over Paradise Honors. The win made it back-to-back wins for Dysart.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dysart to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nigel Anderson, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and three blocks. The game was Anderson's 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Morales, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds.
Despite the defeat, Paradise Honors saw an underclassman step up: Tj Harris scored 21 points. Harris is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last 16 games he's played. David Leszczynski was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Dysart's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.6 points per game. As for Paradise Honors, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-8.
Dysart will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Tempe at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th. Tempe will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 238th, while Dysart is ranked 42nd). As for Paradise Honors, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Thunderbird at 7:00 p.m. on January 11th.
