Baseball Recap: Pinnacle Classical Academy Triumphs

While Pinnacle Classical Academy's victory against Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Gryphons 10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since April 23, 2025.

Keegan McIntyre was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off three hits. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with one run and one double. He has become a key player for Pinnacle Classical Academy: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three hits, but 1-5 otherwise.

In other batting news, Jackson Houser was excellent, going 3-for-5 with two RBI and one run. Brayden Harvey was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Pinnacle Classical Academy and bumps their season record up to 4-5. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
