The victory continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Maroons: they've now won six in a row.
Quincy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jada Brown out in front who went 10-for-18 on her way to 24 points in addition to six boards and three steals. Brown's evening made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameran Byquist, who made all 5 shots she took to post 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Quincy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in three consecutive contests.
Quincy's victory bumped their record up to 19-10. As for Moline, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 13-15 record this season.
