The Union Rockets managed to keep up with MTI School of Knowledge until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Union ended up on the wrong side of a rough 65-42 walloping at the hands of MTI School of Knowledge. Union has not had much luck with MTI School of Knowledge recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Union's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Lamar Schwartz, who scored 12 points along with 9 rebounds and 6 steals. Schwartz is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Dawson Ogden, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 16 rebounds.
Union now has a losing record at 1-2. As for MTI School of Knowledge, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Union will head out on the road to face off against Fortune Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for MTI School of Knowledge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Phalen Leadership Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
