North Hagerstown has gone a perfect 10-0 against South Hagerstown recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Hubs will head out on the road to square off against the Rebels at 6:45 p.m. North Hagerstown is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
North Hagerstown is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: James Wood, who was ranked first in their home state at the time (North Hagerstown was ranked third). The Hubs blew past the Colonels 3-0 on Friday.
North Hagerstown never let James Wood on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20, 25-23.

North Hagerstown's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zalikah Pabalan, who had 18 digs and three assists. Those three assists gave Pabalan a new career-high. Aleah Merrbaugh was another key player, getting 17 digs.
Meanwhile, South Hagerstown posted their closest victory since October 7, 2024 on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Frederick 3-2.
South Hagerstown wouldn't go down easily and took Frederick into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-18, 25-19, 21-25, 15-10.
The win got South Hagerstown back to even at 2-2. As for North Hagerstown, their record now sits at 8-0.
North Hagerstown took their victory against South Hagerstown in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Hubs repeat their success, or do the Rebels have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
